High Renaissance spans from approximately 1490 to 1527. It was the highpoint of the Renaissance where classical humanism was painted with linear perspective, shading and other techniques of realism. The period was centered around Rome and sponsored by the Pope. Some of the most notable painters of the High Renaissance include Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Titian, Correggio and Giorgione.
